Barracuda have reinterpreted the design and improved efficiency across a range of distinctive ‘Balearic-style’ motorboats, traditionally referred to as Llaüts.

Due to very rounded stern sections and beam width proportions carried almost the entire length of the hull, this hull shape is famous for plenty of internal volume with good sea-keeping characteristics. This fact alone encouraged an evolution of the original concept, and made this design style a popular option for leisure use. While retaining a traditional appearance was fundamental to the client’s design brief, efficiency and versatility in all areas has significantly improved. A flexible interior accommodation layout and ‘walk-around’ access to generous fore and aft-deck spaces and large swim-platforms complete the concept.
